Agent → Mode decides the layout the embed script renders. Agent → Design controls colors, type, size, and the elements Argide draws on your page. Neither needs a code change: the script reads both each time a visitor loads your page.
You need the Admin role in your organization to save changes on any Agent page.

Mode

When you pick Copilot, choose Sidebar position: left or right (default). The launcher bubble moves to the same side. Click Save Changes. You can also pick the mode in step 2 of Deploy → Install; both places change the same setting.

Mobile

Copilot mode falls back to the regular widget on screens 768 px wide or narrower. The check runs when the page loads.

Force a mode from your code

To override the dashboard for one page or one test, add data-mode to the script tag. It accepts widget or copilot; any other value is ignored.
The sidebar still opens on the side set in Sidebar position.

Design

The Design page edits the chat panel, the floating bubble, and two things Argide draws directly on your page. The preview on the right updates as you edit. Click Save Changes to publish. Reset to Default fills the form with the defaults below; click Save Changes afterwards to apply them.

Theme

The Theme toggle at the top switches between two built-in palettes, Light and Dark. Each sets every panel color and the bubble colors in one click. As soon as you edit any color by hand, the toggle switches to Custom, and you can flip back to your custom palette after trying a preset.

Open chat automatically

When on, the chat opens by itself on the first page a visitor loads in a new browser tab. It doesn’t reopen on later pages in that tab. Off by default.

Chat panel

Each group is a collapsible section. Colors accept any hex value from the picker.
A dark Background also switches the input box, suggestion chips, and loading indicator to dark styling automatically.
Argide loads Inter for the chat itself. The other named fonts render only if your page already loads them; otherwise the browser falls back to a system sans-serif.
The panel never grows past the visitor’s screen. In copilot mode, Width sets the width of the sidebar.
Widget Shadow: None, Soft, Medium, Strong, or Extra Strong. Default is Extra Strong.

Floating bubble

The bubble is the launcher users click to open the chat. Right and Bottom are offsets from the corner of the screen. When the copilot sidebar is on the left, Right is measured from the left edge instead. Persuasion Label shows a short tooltip above the bubble while the chat is closed. It’s on by default. Set the wording in Label Text; if you leave it empty, the label reads “How can I help you?”. When a reply arrives while the chat is closed, a preview of it replaces the label.

Highlight

Mark Color sets the color of everything the agent draws on your page: the border and diamond marker during a guided walkthrough, and the box and cursor that mark what the agent is about to click during in-page actions. Default is #facc15 (yellow). The marks sit on your page, not in the chat panel, so they don’t follow the panel Theme. Pick a color that stands out against your own UI.

Control bar

While the agent or a workflow is working on your page, a floating bar with a Stop button appears at the bottom of the screen. Choose its Theme: Light or Dark (default). Like the highlight, it doesn’t follow the panel theme.
